Neil Brideau of Radiator Comics will give a presentation on a variety of ways writers and artists can get their books, comics, and zines in front of readers' eyes. Neil will breakdown self-publishing, pitching to publishers, printing options, distribution, and involvement with festivals and awards. This illustrated presentation will include a hands-on zine making demonstration and a Q&A session with attendees.
Neil Brideau runs Radiator Comics, a distributor and publisher of handmade and small press comic books. Before moving to Miami in 2017, Neil lived in Chicago, where he worked at Quimby's Bookstore, an epicenter for self-publishing, and was a founding organizer of the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo, and the Chicago Zine Fest.
